Louis Vuitton appoints new head of the Americas region

French luxury brand Louis Vuitton has appointed Megan Grant to replace Lanessa Elrod as the President and CEO of the Americas, effective June 3rd. Grant will report to David Ponzo, Executive Vice President of Business Activities, and will be based in New York. She will be responsible for leading and developing the Americas team to drive performance, further enhance customer experience, and enhance the brand’s attractiveness in the Americas. Previously, Grant worked for French cosmetics giant L’Oreal, responsible for the luxury cosmetics department in the United States. Grant also held leadership positions in Lancome, Koyan’s, Ralph Lauren perfume and Giorgio Armani beauty businesses.
