Prada group heir denies the group will be acquired by Chanel: Rumors

According to Hsinking newspaper shell finance, lorenzo Bertelli, heir apparent to Italian luxury goods group Pradat, denied reports that Prada could be bought by French luxury goods company Chanel. Following reports that the Wertheimer family, which controls Chanel, was interested in buying Prada, family representatives met late last year with Miuccia Prada and Lorenzo Bertelli, the Miuccia Prada’s founders. The Wertheimer family is offering about $6 billion. Responding to the news, Lorenzo Bertelli said it was“Rumour” and commented on Prada’s unannounced results for the 2023 fiscal year, “Expecting a positive outcome.”
